Overview

An experience like no other!! Whether it is your first visit to the Holy Land, your second third or countless time, this experience will leave you with a new appreciation to the nature and how our ancestors lived. The Biblical Experience will be led by Emmanuel, a licensed Primitive Skills and Survival Specialist. You will learn how to forage for food in the Holy Land using plants that have been growing here since Biblical Times. You will learn to create fire, your own torch and shelter using just basic skills. We hope you go back home with new Life Skills and a new appreciation of the Land of Israel and nature in general. As  Primitive Skills Specialists; we have worked to introduce skills that could have been used in Biblical Time.  How did people eat and live and find shelter  2000 or 300 years ago?

The Biblical Skills we will learn will give you the ability to survive in nature and in emergencies. We are not just focusing on skills., but also working on Psychological skills which also help. Each Experience is unique and can be adapted to your family or group.

What's Included

  • Guided walking tour of the Jewish Quarter in the Old City of Jerusalem
  • Visit to the Hurva and Karaite synagogues
  • Exploration of the Cardo, an ancient Roman marketplace
  • Visit to the Western Wall, Judaism's holiest site
  • Stop at Robinson's Arch, a unique archaeological site
  • Tour of the City of David, an important archaeological and historical site
  • Visit to the 4 Serfadi Synagogues
  • Meeting with a Sofer (Scribe), to learn about the traditional Jewish art of writing Torah scrolls
  • Visit to Jewish places in the Muslim Quarter, including the Temple Mount.
  • Tenach (Bible) study throughout the tour, bringing Jewish history and culture to life

Itinerary

  • Making a simple fire and how to make your own torch 
  • Learning what foods one can eat in nature in Israel.
  • Make  a basic shelter in nature.
